Our CSR policy and our LESS program

Aware of the footprint that we must leave as a major player in the manufacture of electronic products and connected products, we have decided since the beginning of our activity to produce our ranges with standardized industrial partners who have CSR certifications, such as bsci® and sedex® certifications as well as our iso 9001 standardized productions, it was time to take another step in the design of our products by introducing the concept of eco-design and introducing new materials recyclable or biodegradable to replace petroleum-based plastic, a more respectful view of the manufacturing and composition of our products; more virtuous for the planet.

Our CSR policy is based on 2 essential axes coordinated by our LESS program

 1-Ecodesign and the environment

 2-Social Responsibility

1-Ecodesign andenvironment

Plastic production has increased exponentially from 2.3 million tonnes in 1950 to 448 million tonnes in 2015, if this were to continue plastics production to be double in 2050.

We think it's time to think differently and reduce the use of plastics as quickly as possible and recycle all the waste that is everywhere at our disposal.

This makes it possible to create new products to prevent them from ending up in litter or in the oceans.

We firmly believe that the future of these different types of packaging is circular. Each correctly recycled packaging can become a new product, which reduces the impact on the environment.

From 2024, our collection will be eco-designed up to  80%.

How can we produce better by recycling our waste or using renewable products?

rPET

rPET is a material made from 100% recycled PET. He can also recycle 100% himself. It is therefore a plastic that makes it possible to enter a circular economy.

By crushing the empty bottles collected, previously washed and sorted, into flakes, and transforming these into granules via a recycling process

This makes it possible to create new products to prevent them from ending up in litter or in the oceans.

We firmly believe that the future of these different types of packaging is circular. Each correctly recycled packaging can become a new product, which reduces the impact on the environment.

rABS

The virgin ABS which is used in the composition of many products is made from petrochemical products and can be recycled into RABS and enters a virtuous circle because it consists of plastic waste from old electronic products or components from cars, in particular  .

As with RPET, the plastic material in rabs and was produced without taking more natural raw material, the recycling cycle is exactly the same as that of RPET

Technically, any product made from ABS can be recycled into RABS.

Imagine a virtuous range it is important and that is why thetraceability materials used for production

of these products is essential, we we have therefore chosen to use standardized production units andlabeled materials

RCS (Recycled Claim Standard)

it is used as a chain of custody standard to follow recycled raw materials through the supply chain, to guarantee you a sustainable and standardized product.

Packaging

All our packaging will be made of recycled or recyclable cardboard or labeled FSC from September 2023

We mainly print with ink made from soy

soy ink is more environmentally friendly, and facilitates the recycling of paper.

2-Social responsibility

As a designer and distributor of products, TELEFUNKEN is responsible for the supply chain.

We must manufacture in factories respecting an environmental and social charter, since the beginning of our activity. 80% of our partners adhere to the BSCI or SEDEX charter, which guarantees a healthy and safe working environment that respects social standards and individual rights.
